Nicknames
Thought it would be fun to list out some of the nicknames we have for the kids, so we can look back and laugh.
Ethan: E, Mr. E, E-man, Buddy
Willa: Willa-bean, Bean Bean Machine, Willa-beast (like Wildebeast), Wilson, Wilhemina, Wilma, Will-Will, Wilhelm von Wilhelm, Willy, Wilsy
With Ethan we thought a lot about not wanting other kids to be able to shorten his name or rhyme his name with "naughty" words. With Willa, not so much, but so far it is mostly us making up the silly names.

Sorry for the lack of news
With Karri working furiously through busy season, we have been busy and have neglected the blog. Here is a quick recap of some of the highlights over the last couple months:
Ethan is now on his 10th idea, at least, for a Halloweeen costume.
- March was full of friends' birthdays - Carter, William, Jack, and Elena
- We had a pretty mellow party for Willa with just grandparents
- Went for a fun hike to Snaoqualmie Falls with the McMillens (Ike and Milo and parents) - it will soon be closed for construction
- Went to Toppenish for Ethan's birthday and Easter egg hunting
- Annual checkups - everyone is doing well.
- Went to Tutta Bella with parents and McMillens. It is good to see Ike and Ethan hanging out just being friends. We all hope that Ike and Ethan remain frineds post KidsCentre
- Went to a number of fun places (Archie McPhees) and a lame one (Scratch Patch)
- Finally got our harddrive to backup rights so we feel much better about all our family photos.
- Made chocolate chip cookies for all the other kids on the block.

RE: Passover
Thought you'd enjoy seeing it, but made it tough for the kids to have any clue what was going on or what the holiday was about.
