The Week That Was
Seems like the last week had a lot of fun stuff and some firsts:
- Willa had the Wizard of Oz read to her and loved it. Started last Friday and finished on Sunday morning.
- Both kids watched the movie on Sunday afternoon and evening. No nightmares, despite Karri's concerns. Almost made it through a second time before it had to go back to the video store.
- Ethan went with Zayde, Tyler, and me to his first live football game. Go Dawgs! Sorry that Zayde's Buffs got obliterated 55-24.
- On Saturday also Ethan had a soccer game where he got an assist. Willa had a dance class.
- We just started Clementine. Finding books with good girl leads has been tough, but some other paretns turned us on to Clementine and Gooney Bird Greene, so we have some fun times coming up.
- This morning Willa read her first book! A Bob Book. She is on her way...
