It's a dark day in Seattle as we lose one of our valued institutions and a part of our lives for the past 12 years. Last year the Sonics, this year the P-I. The P-I is moving online, but it's not the same. We'll start getting the Times, but it's not the same.As Thomas Jefferson said, "Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter."
